With the sun out and the birds singing, it is easy to be deluded into thinking that spring is here - that is until the wind picks up! The merino sheep still have their winter coats. The shearer is scheduled to arrive on the 5th of April to do the rams and a few of the ewes. He is fortunately not in the position to want to shear all of them at one time which suits me perfectly.
This month’s Fiber Art Studio Tour is focusing on spring flower colors. It will be March 12, 2022, from 11-4. Please do come out and fondle our fiber. The information and maps for all of the studios is on the facebook page Fiber Art Studio Tour. We are all in Western Maryland and close enough that you can visit all of us in one day.
Tomorrow I will be returning to regular shop hours - Tuesdays-Saturdays 10-3. This coming Saturday I am offering $5 off any art or millspun yarn that is priced $35 or higher. This special is for this Saturday only and you must purchase in the farm shop. It does not apply to my Etsy shop.
