Bottle lambs are very fragile. Gabriel quit eating Thursday evening, so we spent the last two days trying to figure out why. He has improved dramatically but he is still spending time in the house.
While in the house he learned to climb up the stairs. He could not figure out how to get down so he plopped down on the landing waiting for us to bring him back down. He learned to drink milk out of a bowl, nibble on hay and figured out that the cage is his spot. He goes in there voluntarily when he is tried.
We took him for a walk yesterday afternoon and he met the angora goats. They thought he was interesting, but his focus was on my legs and keeping up with me. This afternoon I took him back out to Starry’s group. It took him a while to recognize them. I let him stay down for a while, but he is back in the house sleeping now.
I card when I am stressed. I have had some sheep buttons for a while now and decided now was a good time to prepare for my next freeform yarn. The batt on the carder is a mix of all of the colors that I will be using. I created rovings with different combinations of fibers and colors.
The supercoils were spun this past week and will go in my shop tomorrow. I have 700 items in my shop now. It is the fullest it has ever been. Be sure to click on the link to Etsy to see them all.
