Summer Update

Things on the farm never slow down. I had two Angora goat kids born and they are providing me and anyone who is following me lots of entertainment.

I have added a Withers Wool Farm group where I am posting some of the behind the farm scenes that will not always be shared with other pages and groups, so ask to join, if you are interested.

Every Thursday at 11 a.m. I am doing a Facebook Live from Withers Wool. The topics will vary between, spinning, knitting, crocheting, weaving, techniques, animals and my gardens. Yesterday I showed Solo and Duo meeting for the first time. It can be found on most of my social media pages. The Maryland Sheep and Wool Community page has been gracious and is allowing us to post on their page through the end of the year. I am taking advantage of it, but caution you, that if you want to keep seeing my posts, that you follow one of my pages since I am not always posting there and I don’t know when they will cut us off for next year.

I never used to have issues with the heat, but seems like I am very susceptible to it. My garden is flourishing and so are the weeds. I have one huge pumpkin that I have been watching. It is hanging on a vine going up the aviary. It is almost orange so I will be picking it soon. Hate for it to fall and become chicken dinner.

I am posting yarns and rovings on almost a daily basis on my www.witherswool.etsy.com page. Etsy carries them 4 months. Some are not being renewed since I have over 400 items and I am adding new ones regularly.

I hope you are all having a lovely summer. Social distancing is stressful, but we will get through it! Time and patience (added) are now my words for the year.
